Pastor Josh and Sarah
Hi, my name is Josh.
I believe that you are uniquely wired by God for a specific purpose, and that unless you figure out what that purpose is, you'll never be truly fulfilled.
No one else on earth can fulfill the unique calling that God has for you.
No one else can fulfill your assignment.
Maybe you know exactly what your purpose is, maybe you've been running from it for a while, or maybe you have absolutely no idea where to even start looking for it...
But I want to help you find it.
FAQ
Have questions? We have the answers!
We are located at 50 Howe Avenue, Bulding G.
We believe that God, in His Word, calls us to gather as His church for worship on Sunday, the Lord’s Day. We meet for Sunday School at 9:30 and our worship service starts at 10:30. We also have a Wednesday night prayer meeting at 5:30pm and everyone brings their own dinner.
The main parking is highlightd in red, with the entrance marked with the blue arrows.
We do have a nursery on Sundays, but it is also ok to have your kids in the service if you prefer. After dinner at our Wednesday night service the children head to the nursery as well.
We read Scripture, sing Scripture, pray Scripture, and preach Scripture. We utilize a traditional liturgy with a mix of traditional and modern hymns to help us worship and hear from God. You can find a recent bulletin HERE to see what this looks like in practice.
Hope Reformed Church is a member of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church (ARPC). The ARPC has had a long and rich history in the US. You can read a brief history HERE. At this time, we are the only ARP church in New England, but we are praying that others will be planted in the future. While we are a part of this denomination, the people that gather each Sunday for worship come from many different backgrounds.
The reformation began in the 14 and 1500s with the work of Jan Hus, Martin Luther, and John Calvin. The goal was to address or reform some of the shifts that had taken place in the church. One of the greatest reforms was that justification was by faith alone apart from works. You can read a longer post about what it means to be reformed HERE, or listen to our podcast, daily reformation, HERE. It is also important to note we do not believe that you need to be reformed to be a Christian or to worship with us.
